All spectacles purchased come with the following included in the basic price (see category price): - high quality frame, fitted standard single vision prescription lenses, FREE anti-scratch guard coating (worth over £10), hard case, cloth, FREE UK mainland delivery, & 1 years warranty. Your spectacles are VAT exempt, please see VAT section.

All safety spectacles are industrially tested to BS EN 166:2002 (low energy impact) in accordance with BSI ISO 9002. Any alternative lens types will incur an additional fee, which will be clearly indicated for your reference.
Your Obligations
In order to purchase prescription glasses or sunglasses from myspecs.co.uk LTD, you must agree with the following statements: -
  • I am over 18 years of age
  • I am not registered blind or partially blind
  • My prescription is from a qualified optician and is not more than 2 years old
  • I accept myspecs.co.uk LTD's terms and conditions of sale
  • I will provide proof of my prescription if requested
  • I will provide correct and accurate information about myself
Our Promise
myspecs.co.uk ltd promises to deliver the highest possible quality products in the shortest possible time. Our spectacles are manufactured by an ISO 9002 registered optical laboratory who also hold the BSI kitemark approval for safety spectacles.
Guarantees - Warranty - Returns Policy
All spectacles purchased from myspecs.co.uk ltd come with a one-year warranty against the manufacture of the glasses. If you feel that your lenses, frame or coatings do not conform to your original order we are happy to replace them free of charge. This includes wrong prescriptions, faulty frames, and coatings breaking down on the lenses. This does not include misuse, abuse or general wear and tear. Please return the non-conforming product to N/C Return, 20 Gellymill Street, AB44 1TN. Please ensure that you include the frame and the lenses and details of your return. This should include your guarantee card (which comes with the spectacles), your name, address and the original order date. The items will then be forwarded to our optical laboratory for testing. If the product is confirmed to be non-conforming, we will replace it free of charge and return it to you within 14 days (may take longer for non-stock items). If the product is found to be within specification you will receive a report explaining why they have not been replaced.
Guarantees - 14 Day Moneyback Guarantee - Returns Policy
If you are not happy with your purchase at all, you may return your spectacles within 14 days for a complete, no questions asked, refund. Please return to M/B Claim, 20 Gellymill Street, AB44 1TN. Ensure that you include the frame, the lenses, case, cloth & myspecs.co.uk ltd guarantee card in their original condition.
Delivery Policy (please see also "Stock Limitations")
The cost of delivery with the UK mainland is included in the price of the spectacles. Orders will be processed overnight on the day you place the order. We aim to deliver our products to you in the following lead times:

Standard Single Vision - 72 hours
Standard Single Vision Sunglasses - 72 hours
Single Vision Transitions - 72 hours
Single Vision Hi-Index / Thin Lenses - 3 to 14 days (depending on your prescription)
Standard Bifocal – 72 hours
Bifocal Transitions – 5 to 7 working days
Bifocal Hi-Index / Thin Lenses – up to 28 working days
Standard Varifocal – 72 hours
Kodak Concise Varifocal –5 to 7 working days
Kodak Precise Varifocal – 5 to 7 working days
Varifocal Transitions – 5 to 7 working days
Varifocal Hi-Index / Thin Lenses – up to 28 working days

Anti-Reflective coatings on standard single vision - 72 hours
Anti-Reflective coatings on sunglasses - 14 days
Anti-Reflective coatings on standard/Transition Bifocals – 14 to 21 working days

* Please note, Bifocal & Varifocal Hi-Index / Thin Lenses are supplied with Anti-Reflective coating as standard. This is already included in the item price.

Stock Limitations
All delivery times quoted above are based on the lenses/frames being available with our supplier and any 3rd parties (i.e. their supplier/s). You will be notified if your purchase will be delayed due to out of stock lenses/frames. You will then have the option to continue with the order or to change to another "in-stock" frame/lens type.
Varifocal & Bifocals
Payment will be processed as normal for any purchases of Varifocal or Bifocal lenses. You will receive your chosen frame via Recorded Delivery with simple instructions on how to measure the information we require. You are then obliged to send the frame plus measurements back to our laboratory (address will be supplied with instructions). The cost of returning the frame to us must be paid for by you. If we do not receive the frame back for any reason, you will be refunded minus a £20 deposit for the frame. This £20 deposit is non-refundable unless investigations prove that you did not receive the frame. Delivery times quoted for Varifocal & Bifocal lenses are from when we receive the frame at the laboratory. You should expect delivery of the frame plus instructions within 2 working days of order.

We do recommend that you do not choose small frames (with width below 49mm – “see choosing the right frame” section) for Varifocal lenses. If we believe the frame you have chosen will not be suitable, we withhold the right to reject your order. This will enable you to either choose another frame or receive a full refund. Your order may be considered for certain frames with Kodak Concise or Kodak Precise lenses as these are designed to fit smaller frames.
VAT
Myspecs.co.uk are not eligible to pay VAT on any goods sold at the current time, therefore the price you see is the price you pay.
